These services include tools and APIs for verifying factual accuracy of submitted text. By using our services, you agree to comply with this Policy. Breaches may result in suspension or termination of access without notice.
1. Permitted Use
You may use Superficial services to submit, analyse, and verify text for factual accuracy. Use must be lawful, constructive, and appropriate to your role (e.g., developer, enterprise client, researcher). All use is subject to the Terms of Service and this Policy.
2. Prohibited Use
You must not use Superficial to:
- Submit or process content that is illegal, defamatory, deceptive, or abusive
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or exploit others
- Generate or verify content used for fraud, disinformation, or harassment
- Submit any content that includes sensitive personal information without lawful consent
- Upload code, viruses, scripts, or attempts to compromise service integrity
- Conduct surveillance, scraping, or automated scanning of third-party sources
- Circumvent authentication, rate limits, or technical restrictions
- Misrepresent AI outputs from Superficial as verified facts without human oversight
3. Security and Abuse
You must not interfere with the platform’s security or reliability, including:

- Attempting unauthorised access to systems or user accounts
- Reverse-engineering or extracting service logic or models
- Using automated tools to mass-submit requests unless authorised
- Degrading performance for others through excessive or adversarial use
4. Responsible Use of AI Verification
Superficial outputs are AI-generated assessments and must not be treated as absolute or certified fact. You are responsible for:

- Reviewing outputs before using them in critical applications
- Applying human judgment and due diligence
- Avoiding misuse in regulated, legal, medical, or high-risk contexts without validation
5. Enforcement

- Resell, repackage, or white-label Superficial outputs or services without written consent
- Use Superficial to train, test, or benchmark competing models or platforms
