About the Role

As the Head of Product at Superficial, you will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for our AI auditing and hallucination elimination platform. You will be responsible for understanding market needs, defining product requirements, and leading a cross-functional team to deliver innovative solutions that make AI trustworthy. This is a pivotal role with the opportunity to define a new category in AI safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Superficial's platform.
• Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and define product priorities.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
• Lead and collaborate with engineering, design, research, and marketing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Define and track key product metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to gather feedback and evangelize Superficial's solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in AI, LLMs, AI safety, and enterprise software.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in product management, with a significant portion focused on AI/ML products, enterprise SaaS, or developer tools.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling B2B or developer-focused products.
• Deep understanding of the AI/ML landscape, including LLMs, MLOps, and AI ethics/safety.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
• A genuine passion for building products that solve meaningful problems and have a positive impact.

Nice to Haves

• Technical background or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with API-first products or platforms.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments and compliance in AI (e.g., EU AI Act).
• Previous experience in a founding or early-stage product leadership role.
