Remote (UK/EU Based) Sales

About the Role

As Superficial's Sales Lead for the UK/EU region, you will be responsible for driving adoption and revenue growth for our AI auditing and hallucination elimination platform among enterprise customers. You will build and manage relationships with key decision-makers, understand their AI safety and reliability needs, and articulate the value of Superficial's solutions. This is a foundational sales leadership role with the opportunity to establish our presence and success in a critical market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets in the UK/EU market.
  • Identify and qualify enterprise sales opportunities, building a robust pipeline.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in target organizations, including C-level executives, AI/ML leaders, and compliance officers.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that address customer needs and showcase Superficial's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to provide market feedback and inform product development.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments (e.g., EU AI Act) in the AI space.
  • Represent Superficial at industry events and conferences in the region.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record (7+ years) of success in enterprise B2B sales, preferably selling SaaS, AI/ML solutions, or complex technical products.
  • Deep understanding of the UK/EU enterprise market and experience navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Strong network of contacts within enterprise IT, AI/ML, or data governance departments in the region.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the value of technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
  • A genuine interest in AI, its applications, and the importance of AI safety and reliability.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience selling to regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, legal).
  • Knowledge of AI ethics, compliance frameworks, and data privacy regulations.
  • Experience building or leading a sales team in a startup environment.
  • Fluency in multiple European languages.
